History: Since gaining his ragai spends all his hours on patrol. Leisure is on his mind when mingling with humans but ever on guard. With no one else guarding the town he's been forced to learn bankai alone to make sure this escalating spiritual zone doesn't get overrun by hollows.
Since reaching it the soul society has placed a limiter on him but allowed his continued service of the area. His position as 3rd seat of the 2nd division has afforded him much pliancy  but he's certain he can't go back to life there.
With memories of a bloody past where he and kempachi ruined a large area of the rukon district he wishes to be forgotten there. Better here as a ghost among people who know nothing of his deeds.
